In January, I shared an emergency plan that I created to help families on a tight budget feed their family’s dinner for approximately £10. While this plan doesn't meet all the nutritional requirements we should aim for, I understand that many people are simply struggling to put food on the table right now. It breaks my heart that so many families are in this situation, and I believe it's unacceptable.
While I can't solve this issue entirely, I can offer some practical assistance to help alleviate the pressure. So, I've put together another emergency meal plan that includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner for four that costs £20.59 across various supermarkets.

It was challenging to create a plan that comes in at such a low cost, and I recognise that not everyone can visit multiple stores. However, it's a useful starting point that you can modify to suit your needs.
Please share this information widely, as we never know who might need it. Many people are silently struggling, and they may not want to admit it to family and friends. It's disheartening to receive messages from individuals who wish to remain anonymous because they don't want their loved ones to know how desperate their situation is.
I'm sharing these meal plans to offer some practical help and support to those in need and I really hope it helps.
