Tomato & Vegetable Pasta

Ingredients

  • 300g spaghetti
  • Tin of chopped tomatoes
  • Tin of baked beans
  • 250g mixed veg

    (optional - 1tsp herbs, spice or sugar)

Method

1. Put the pasta and frozen veg into a large pot filled with boiling water.

2. Heat the tinned tomatoes and beans in a small pot - if you have any herbs (like Italian mix, oregano, thyme, or any spices like paprika, Cajun mix or taco mix), you can choose one and add 1tsp to the tomatoes. If not and you have any sugar, add 1tsp to take away the bitterness of the tomatoes.

3. Once the pasta has cooked, add one ladle of the cooking water into the tomatoes and then drain.

4. Pour the tomato sauce over the pasta and serve.
