1. Fry the meat balls in a pan until they are brown on the outside.
2. Add the passata and mixed herbs and simmer for 15 minutes.
3. Split the subs and put some salad on each.
4. Divide the meatballs and sauce onto the subs.
5. Close them over and then grill or air fry for a couple of minutes to toast the rolls.
6. You can add cheese before grilling if you have some.
