Week Three
Welcome back to week three of my Eating Around The World meal plan where I transport your tastebuds to locations around the world without having to leave your kitchen!
Last week, we explored the warming flavours of the Netherlands and England, and sampled the spices of Mozambique, before finishing our trip with the comforts of the U.S.A and Tunisia!
This week, I've pulled together some recipes that I'm sure will already be firm favourites like Peri Peri Halloumi Wraps with Sweet Potato Wedges from Portugal and Moussaka from Greece, as well as a few recipes you might not have experienced. My Peanut Butter Soup recipe comes from Africa and is bound to awaken your tastebuds, just like Polish Zapiekanki (it's sneakily similar to pizza in my family's opinion)!
As I've said previously, these recipes are a fun way to introduce different flavours and cuisines to your little ones, bringing some adventure to mealtimes. Even if you aren't cooking for the whole family, adapt the recipe accordingly (or make more than enough and use them as meal prep for the rest of the week!).
So get your food passports ready, we've got some new countries to explore all from the comfort of your kitchen!
