1. Dry fry the onion and mince until it is browned.
2. Add garlic powder and grated carrots and stir through.
3. Cook for 2 minutes more.
4. Add the passata, mixed herbs, tomato puree, and Worcestershire sauce.
5. Bring to the boil and then reduce to a simmer for 30 minutes.
6. Meanwhile, cook the pasta and once everything is ready, stir together.
