Herby dumplings
1. Mix all the dried ingredients in a bowl.
2. Add cold water, about 4 to 5 tablespoons to make a dough.
3. Break into 6 and roll into balls.
4. Pop into pan with stew and put lid on and leave for 30 mins.
Root vegetable stew
1. Add the veg into a pan with pearl barley and stock.
2. Simmer for about an hour until the vegetables are soft and the barley is cooked.
3. Add the dumplings for the last 30 minutes.
