With the cost of living crisis still playing a huge part in our outgoings, I thought I'd take another look at my original meal plan and see the difference from back then to today. If you shop across all the stores the same meal plan from June 2022 is now £3.98 more expensive, showing why now more than ever we need to stay savvy when doing our food shop.
As you all know, I usually get my shopping list together from Tesco & Aldi. This week I've put my list together from the 5 top supermarkets in the UK. This week's shopping lists came to £27.94 between all 5 stores. Here's how much each shop would be individually:
Tesco: £32.96
Aldi: £30.36
ASDA: £35.02
Sainsburys: £39.55
Morrisons: £41.38
